We are Big G Surf Forecasts ("we", "us", "our") and we operate the www.getaforecast.com (the "Site"), including the Big G newsletter (the "Newsletter"), and the paid for Big G Surf Pro subscription service (the "Service").

The information we may collect falls into the following broad categories;
1. Information that you provide
In the course of using our Service and the Site, you may provide personally identifiable information. This means information that can be used to identify and contact you as an individual ("Personal Data"). This includes when;
1. You sign up to the Big G Newsletter we collect your first name and email address.
2. You become a subscriber to the Service we collect your full name, email address, phone number, billing address, and assign you a unique user ID and password.
You are in control of the Personal Data that you provide and how we use it. You will always be provided with a clear choice on what Personal Data we can collect and how we can use it.
2. Information we collect automatically
We may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain statistical information (this is not Personal Data) about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including (a) details of your visits to our Site or Services, including traffic data and location data, date and time of access, frequency and other communication data; (b) information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, host domain, and browser type; and (c) details of referring websites actions, and patterns.
We do not use cookies to store Personal Data on your computer.
3. Third parties that we use collect and manage data
We take data privacy very seriously and do not sell or disclose your Personal Data to third parties for the purposes of marketing.
We use two third party companies to help us provide you with the Service and manage the Site and Newsletter. These are;
(1) Mailchimp
We use Mailchimp to help us to manage the e-mails we send to you for the Service and the Newsletter. If you are a subscriber to the Service or Newsletter we store your full name and e-mail and keep a record of your preferences for how we can use your Personal Data on MailChimp. (2) PayPal
We use PayPal to process payments, keep track of when your subscription is due and how much you owe, and to store your unique User ID and password. You may view the PayPal privacy policy here. We do not store credit card information, nor do we have access to this information.
This Privacy Policy only addresses the collection, use, and disclosure of information by us through your interaction with our Site and Services. This Privacy Policy does not address the policies or practices of the third parties listed above or any third-party websites that are linked to or available from the Site. Please contact these companies directly if you have any questions about their privacy practices.
How do we use personally identifiable information
We use your Personal Data to provide the Service, improve the Site or make you aware of changes, this includes;
- Notifying you via e-mail on current patterns in the surf and forecasted surf conditions. This is part of the Service called "Flash Reports".
- Analyzing how you use the Service for the purposes of improving the Service we provide to you and others.
- From time-to-time, contacting you about new Services or offers from Big G Surf Forecasts.
Your rights
You have certain rights in respect of the Personal Data that we hold about you, including:

Cross border data transfers
The Personal Data and other information that we collect from you will be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the EEA.
